Cancellation & Bookings Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY

Thank you for considering your reservation with Alfred's Bar & Grill.

For all reservations we kindly request that diners give us notification of a cancellation or if an amendment is required.

For all reservations for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday we require a non-refundable £5.00 per person deposit.
We would also require a non-refundable £5.00 per person deposit for reservations of 8 or more guests at any time. This will be deducted from the total bill on your visit. Should your numbers decrease we require 48 hours notice otherwise the deposit will be retained.
Deposits should be paid within 48 hours of making the booking or the booking will automatically cancel.
Deposits can be paid over the phone with a card or at the venue in advance.

Should you be running late for your reservation we politely ask that you contact us.

Tables will be held for 20 minutes and the reservation will be released if no contact has been made.
To ensure that we can cater for you appropriately, please notify us of any dietary requirements prior to your visit.

By making a reservation at Alfred's bar and Grill you agree to our cancellation terms.

Children Policy

Children and young persons up to 18 years must be accompanied by an adult to be allowed entry to the premises and only when having a meal. Under 18s must vacate the premises by 09.00pm Children and young persons are allowed entry to all the public parts of the premises but children and young persons up to 16 years old are not allowed at or immediately adjacent to the bar. The bar and Restaurant operates to ensure public safety and protect children from harm so it is a requirement that all children must vacate the premises by 09.00pm

We have a conservatory area we use for large celebrations such as birthdays, baby showers, weddings, anniversaries, engagements, etc.

Our minimum requirement is 35 guests to enjoy exclusive use of the space, with a maximum capacity of 45 guests.

For smaller parties (between 25-35 guests), we do offer a non-refundable room hire fee of £200 for exclusivity.

Please note that while you are welcome to decorate the space, we kindly ask that you bring your own decorations, as we are unable to provide storage for them after the event.

Additionally, we do not allow confetti in the venue to maintain a clean environment for all guests.

As a reminder, bookings are limited to a maximum of 2.5 hours, unless the space is available for an extended period after your reservation.

Our management team will confirm this on the day of your event.

Bookings Policy

Please note: Strictly only ONE bill per party will be issued.
